Process Server Renewals Effective March 18, 2020- Until Further Notice

Effective March 18, 2020, the Administrative Office of the Courts is operating on a limited basis, to ensure the safety of AOC personnel and our customers during the COVID-19 health emergency. The information booth on the 6th floor of the George Edgecomb Courthouse is closed so you are unable to complete your renewals in person on a walk-in basis.  In order to accommodate you and your needs the following procedures have been implemented for all certifications that have currently expired or are set to expire.  Renewals will be processed once a week until further notice.

1.     Payment of the $60 renewal fee may be made to the Clerk of the Circuit Court.  Payment may be made over the phone to the Clerk's office.  Please contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court to make the renewal fee payment by calling (813) 276-8100 and advise them that you are calling to make a payment for Certified Process Server Renewal.  The Clerk's office will email you the receipt, which I will need before I can process your renewal.  The Clerk of Circuit Court is only processing renewal payments over the phone at this time.  NO ONLINE PAYMENTS.

2.     You may fill out the Renewal Application Form and Background Check form located online under the Forms page of the website: https://www.fljud13.org/CourtPrograms/CertifiedProcessServers/Forms.aspx.

3.     Email the following documents to cashka@fljud13.org:  (a) a copy of the receipt for payment of the $60 renewal fee; (b) the renewal application form; (c) a completed background check form; and (d) a copy of your insurance renewal policy if your policy is expiring or has already expired.

Upon receipt of all documents above, your renewal ID card will be mailed by U.S. Mail to the business address located on the Renewal Application form, unless you request it be mailed to different address.

THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON PROCESS SERVER RENEWALS CONDUCTED AT THIS TIME.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ALLOW FOR PROCESSING AND MAIL TIME. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO RENEW YOUR CERTIFICATION.

Please contact Kim Carlton (Cash) at (813) 272-5421 or cashka@fljud13.org, if you have any questions or concerns.
