Court Operations during COVID-19 Pandemic

The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit is committed to maintaining access to court operations and program services, while minimizing visitor and staff exposure to the COVID-19 virus. We are coordinating with the Florida Supreme Court, Office of State Courts Administrator, Hillsborough County Clerk of Court, Hillsborough County Emergency Policy Group, Florida Department of Health and other stakeholders to ensure we respond collaboratively while fulfilling our statutory and constitutional obligations.

The Administrative Office of the Courts has suspended all court program services that provide direct services to the public, except for those deemed essential, pursuant to the spirit of Administrative Order S-2020-019, COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts – Essential and Critical Court Proceedings.


We will continue to monitor phone calls and email, support the judges of the circuit, perform program-specific work while practicing social distancing and ensuring the efficient and effective administration of justice.
